Toby Doeden took over the reins of Aberdeen Chrysler as the General Manager in 2011. His longstanding commitment to the company’s success was realized through several promotions after joining the company in February, 1997. After being hired as a sales consultant, Toby quickly rose through the company as Cartiva manager, sales manager and eventually general sales manager, where he served for five years prior to taking over as GM.
In his position, Toby oversees every aspect of the company and strives to keep Aberdeen Chrysler the market leader in Aberdeen and northeast South Dakota, while maintaining a high level of customer and employee satisfaction. Toby operates on a daily basis under Aberdeen Chrysler’s philosophy of customer enthusiasm, employee satisfaction, financial performance, marketing effectiveness and on-going improvement.
When asked what his favorite part of Aberdeen Chrysler is, he said there are way too many to list, but he narrowed it down to the overall daily challenge of trying to find ways to improve the overall performance of the company. He also enjoys getting the opportunity to train and mentor a large group of people to help them achieve their professional goals within the organization.
Prior to joining Aberdeen Chrysler, Toby and his wife, Elizabeth, were partners with his parents in a paint and home décor business.
Outside of work, Toby enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, grand-dogs and attending about various sporting events.
Toby and Elizabeth have four kids: Jackson (27), Josie (25), Jennie (23) and Johnny (21); dogs: Bruno, Buddy, Teddy, Leo and Patty; and cats, Saint and Hank.
Tony Emery has been at Aberdeen Chrysler for 20 years and has climbed the ranks to general sales manager. In his role, Tony manages and executes the day-to-day operations of the sales department. Tony also hires and trains his staff and helps make sure every customer is taken care of to the highest possible standard. Prior to general sales manager, Tony was in sales for three years, was the inventory and finance manager, and was the sales manager for seven years.
What Tony enjoys most about working at Aberdeen Chrysler is seeing his team succeed, grow and become leaders at work and in the community. He also loves the team atmosphere that ensures every customer is taken care of every time.
Tony graduated high school from Ipswich, SD. He joined and served in the United States Army for four years and then began his career in the automotive industry in Colorado before returning to the area. Tony and his wife Sandy have two daughters, Taryn and Peyton. Outside of work, Tony enjoys golfing and spending time with his family, along with cheering on his beloved Boston Red Sox and Denver Broncos.
Landon Jondahl will be celebrating nine years with Aberdeen Chrysler Center. He is currently the new car sales manager after spending three years as a new car sales consultant. In his current role, Landon oversees the new car sales department which includes assisting in every new car deal from start to finish, along with ensuring the proper new vehicle inventory is available for our customers. He enjoys being in a winning atmosphere and part of a team. Landon is no stranger to the car business as his father has been in the business since 1981.
Landon and his wife Jessica our new parents to son, Beckett, have two dogs, a rescue named Banjo and a golden retriever named Marley. He and his wife enjoy vacationing in Las Vegas. A Groton native, Landon enjoys golfing and is a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan who has attended several games at the famed Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI.
Jackson joined the sales team at Aberdeen Chrysler Center in 2018. He is from the area having grown up and graduated from Groton, SD. Jackson attended SDSU before joining the sales staff. During his high school years, he worked in the maintenance and detail departments, making him familiar with many aspects of the dealership. In his role as Sales Manager, Jackson mentors and assists sales consultants, as well as ensuring each customer has an exceptional buying experience.
In his free time, Jackson can be found gaming or hanging out with family and friends and girlfriend, Bailey. He also runs a successful bitcoin mining company on the side. He has two orange cats, Hoss and Bino, and a Heeler mix named Remi.
Christian Wilson’s journey with Aberdeen Chrysler Center is a testament to his dedication, hard work, and passion for exceptional customer service. Starting out as a Reconditioning Specialist in high school, Christian’s commitment to the dealership and his customers has propelled him to his current role as Sales Manager.
Christian finds immense satisfaction in helping customers achieve their automotive goals and ensuring they receive the best customer service possible. His dedication goes beyond sales, as he takes pride in mentoring and guiding fellow employees to grow not only as Sales Consultants, but as individuals. Christian believes in fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere within the team, making his role an honor at Aberdeen Chrysler Center.
Outside of the dealership, Christian is a well-rounded individual with a love for sports, hunting, fishing, and working on cars. He’s not just a dedicated professional but a committed family man, with two sisters, Maddie and Katherine, who he is very close with. And, a fun fact, he purchased his first house at the remarkable age of 20, a testament to his determination and work ethic.
Roger Dykema is a veteran member of the Aberdeen Chrysler Center sales team. He started selling vehicles in 2003 and has built up a loyal customer base in that time. He’s enjoyed the way the car industry has evolved and has continued to excel. Roger also serves as a Team Lead and assists in the mentoring of new sales consultants. He enjoys the challenges that each day brings and the team he is a part of.
Roger grew up on a farm near Westfield, ND and has been able to continue his love of farming and ranching with his own hobby farm. Outside of work Roger and his wife Rebecca thoroughly enjoy their hobby farm, as well as camping, horseback riding and are involved in 4H. He has five children: Brittany, Chase, Taylor, Regan and Rylan; two grandchildren: Hallie and Gayden; and several pets including dogs, cats, sheep, donkeys and a horse.
Justin joined the Aberdeen Chrysler Center sales team in 2016. With well over a decade of experience in the automotive industry as an automotive mechanic, he has a wealth of knowledge to bring to customers. In his position as a Sales Consultant, Justin assists people in various situations to find a vehicle that best suits their wants ad needs. He appreciates the face that everyone pulls together as a team and it’s like a big family. Justin truly strives to go above and beyond to exceed his customers’ expectations.
Justin is a 2001 Aberdeen Central High School graduate. When he is not working, Justin enjoys spending time with his family: girlfriend Sanchel, sons Charlie and Logan, and step children Jaidyn, Adrian, Alyssa and Auryanna. He also enjoys playing games outside, taking in a good football game and traveling to new places. Justin and Sanchel recently purchased their first home.
Jordan Fischer joined our team in the spring of 2016 as a sales consultant after owning his own online retail business selling bicycle parts. Jordan is an Aberdeen native and 2010 Central grad. In his role, Jordan is responsible for helping customers throughout the buying process from beginning to end. He enjoys helping people achieve their dreams of owning their first vehicle or upgrading to something nicer. When asked what aspect he enjoys most about the job, he said meeting and interacting with new people every day. His customers describe Jordan as “being easy to work with and not pushy.” He has knowledge of the mechanical side of vehicles as well which helps him answer a wide array of questions customers may have.
Outside of work, Jordan enjoys hunting, fishing and watching the Minnesota Wild. A fun fact about Jordan is that he raced BMX bikes for over 9 years and raced in national events all over the U.S. He still owns a small bike shop and helps kids with BMX racing. Jordan married his wife, Lindsey, in Spring of 2022. Jordan and Lindsey have a son, Ryder, and a daughter, Quinn. They also have two dogs: a beagle named Margo and Lucy, a dachshund.
Kalub is new to our sales staff here at Aberdeen Chrysler Center. He grew up right here in Aberdeen, and graduated from Central High School. His past experience working customer service gave him the skills he needed to be an efficient salesman- his strongest skills are communication and the ability to listen and absorb information. When he’s not at work, you can find him playing Pokemon Go. Welcome to the team, Kalub!
Brandon Eisenenbeisz was born and raised in Aberdeen, SD. After graduating from Northern State University, Brandon worked in customer service and Human Resources before joining the Aberdeen Chrysler Center sales team. He enjoys the work environment and assisting customers with their vehicle purchasing needs.
Brandon has many hobbies, including biking, watching movies, reading and cheering on the LA Rams. Recently Brandon added a mini-Ausiedoodle named Odie to his family. He enjoys taking Odie for walks.
Born and raised in Aberdeen, Chris Grey is not just a familiar face in the community; he’s also a trusted name in the automotive industry. With a wealth of automotive experience, Chris is here to make your car-buying experience a smooth and enjoyable journey.
In his role as an Automotive Sales Consultant, Chris takes pride in guiding customers through the purchasing process, helping them find the perfect vehicle that suits their needs, budget, and lifestyle. What sets Chris apart is his commitment to putting your needs first. His approach is rooted in the values instilled by his military grandfather and his steadfast Irish grandmother, who taught him the importance of manners and respect from a young age.
Before joining the Aberdeen Chrysler Center family, Chris worked as an internal parts advisor at another dealership right here in Aberdeen. It’s in his nature to enjoy meeting new people and getting to know each customer on a personal level, making the car-buying process not just a transaction but a memorable experience.
Beyond his professional life, Chris is a family man. He is the proud father of two beautiful children, Audrey and Adrian, who brighten his world. Adrian, born in May 2021, is the newest addition to his family and a constant source of joy.
Chris Gross brings 32 years of sales experience to the job; the last 23 of which have been here at Aberdeen Chrysler. Chris’ duties include helping clients select their new or used vehicle, as well as taking care of their needs after the sale is final. Chris says of Aberdeen Chrysler that he loves being around a great group of people who are dedicated to their careers and are committed to make sure they do their best to satisfy the customers.
Chris is married and has three children and three grandchildren. Away from work, he enjoys boating, fishing and spending time with his grand kids. Chris also keeps busy with owning two car washes and a storage unit facility. A unique hobby of Chris’ is collecting antique advertising signs.
John joined the Aberdeen Chrysler Center sales team in 2021. In his time here, he has enjoyed the camaraderie established with his co-workers and takes pride in helping customers find what they are looking for and then directing them to the right vehicle. He likes that every customer gets Aberdeen Chrysler Center’s Best Price every time, which makes the buying process easier for the customer. John’s background in insurance sales helped him grow and refine his communication skills.
John is from Blunt, SD and graduated from Sully Buttes High School. He has a golden retriever named Zoey, cheers for the Chicago Bears, and enjoys spending time with friends, playing games, or going on road trips in his free time, especially to the black hills. John possesses the unusual skill of a one-handed clap.
Brandon Lout has been a part of the sales team for three years now. He previously worked in our Service Department, an experience that gave him a broader perspective on the automotive industry. His previous experience in retail along with his National Guard deployments have helped Brandon learn to adapt to situations and know the importance of being respectful to everyone. Brandon enjoys meeting new people and treating each person he meets with respect and professionalism while helping them find the car of their dreams.
Brandon is an Aberdeen Central High School graduate and serves in the National Guard. He also competes in BMX racing, finishing in the top 10 in the nation of the 21-25 age group. Recently, he married his wife Jessie, and they have a son named Isaiah who is 2 years old. His favorite part about working at Aberdeen Chrysler Center is the camaraderie among the staff and the enjoyable work environment.
Evan started as a Sales Consultant with Aberdeen Chrysler Center in 2023; however, Evan is not new to sales. He has spent the past 15+ years in sales positions, most recently assisting clients with their flooring needs. His extensive sales background, attentiveness to customers and rapport building allows him to assist customers in finding a vehicle that fits their budget, wants, and needs.
Evan graduated from Aberdeen Central and then went on to play college soccer for Presentation College and graduated with a degree from there. In his free time, he can be found playing disc golf (rain, snow or sunshine), attending USA national soccer team games and spending time with his nephew, Owen.
Kody is proud to say he is no longer the newest Sales Consultant! He graduated from Central High School, and had three years of automotive sales experience under his belt before joining the sales staff here at Aberdeen Chrysler Center. His favorite part of the job is having the ability to provide an enjoyable purchasing experience to his customers, as well as assisting them in finding the perfect vehicle to fit all their needs. He puts his customers first, and is very thankful when they recommend working with him to family and friends to find the right vehicle for them.
When he’s not assisting customers, he is spending time with his wife, Erin, and his two daughters Paisley (9) and Kleo (7 months). He has an Old English Bulldog named Axel, and he likes to enjoy his spare time in the Black Hills with his family and friends.
Bryce Hayes is a new to the sales team here at The Aberdeen Chrysler Center, joining in August 2023. Bryce is passionate and ready to learn, and makes a great addition to our sales staff. He’s originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and he graduated from Mobridge Pollock. The biggest compliment he has received in his position is that he has a great attitude!
Bryce lives here in Aberdeen with his fiancee Nicole. They have one cat named Bella, and they recently got engaged in May! Bryce’s favorite sports team is the Indianapolis Colts, so that’s what he likes to spend his Sunday’s doing – during football season of course. When he’s not working hard at the Aberdeen Chrysler Center, he is exploring his hobby and secret talent, which is cooking!
Jason Ulmer joined the Aberdeen Chrysler Center staff at the beginning of 2021. His previous 10 years experience as an Advertising Sales Director laid the foundation for his continued success in sales.
Jason hails from Fullerton, ND and likes being the token “701 special” on the sales team. Growing up on a family farm played a huge part of his work ethic and attitude. He feels that sales and farming have a common thread in that you are there to do a job, not punch a clock.
He and his wife, Genevieve, have been married for 20 years and have three children: Grace (18), Landon (16), Jacey (11).
Jason prides himself on being an amazing cook, who loves listening to good music, and chilling with his wife and kids who have all have enjoyed becoming part of the Aberdeen community. He also considers it a privilege to occasionally get back to help his brother on the family farm.
Jason goes to work everyday with a mindset to do more than sell a vehicle, his goal is to gain a customer.
Tim Baadte returned to the Aberdeen Chrysler Center Service Advisor Team in 2022. He was welcomed back after having previously worked with our customers for over 20 years. Tim lives in Aberdeen and graduated from Warner High School. Tim and his wife Stacy have two sons, Andrew married to Brittany and Josh and his wife Shanel. They welcomed a lawyer to the family with their son getting his license to practice. Tim and Stacy have two grandchildren, Remi & Halsey. Their house is also home to cats Poke and Dot.
Tim grew up loving cars and even wanted to work in NASCAR, and you can find him when he’s not working watching racing or camping. He will tell you that Florida is his favorite travel destination. Tim has always been handy it seems because he is good at remodeling projects at home. Tim enjoys getting to the bottom of things and helping our customers, both new and returning, identify and repair their vehicles to get them back on the road. He has enjoyed customers welcoming him back.
Jason Holm joined the Aberdeen Chrysler Center team in 2012 as a Service Advisor. Jason has worked in the retail service industry as a grocer for a considerable amount of time before taking a position as a Service Advisor. He managed our Auto Body Repair facility, Abra, for a couple of years, before more recently joining the sales team. As a Sales Manager Jason assists the sales consultants in creating an enjoyable buying experience from start to finish. Building relationships with customers is an aspect of sales that Jason highly values.
Jason is from the area, graduating high school from Cresbard, SD. Jason and his wife Kathy are recent empty nesters as their youngest, daughter Taylor, graduated high school and is now attending college. Outside of work Jason enjoys tending his yard at Mina Lake, attending sporting events, spending time at the lake with his family, wife Kathy, children Tyler and Taylor and dog Hondo, or cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and Boston Redsox.
Jeff Schick has been working at Aberdeen Chrysler for almost 30 years, making him one of our most-tenured employees. After working as a technician for his first four years, he was promoted to service manager where he has been working since. As the service manager, Jeff oversees the day-to-day operations of the service department, as well as being responsible for employee management, customer service, and manufacture relations. Not having any two days alike is what Jeff likes most about his job.
Outside of work, Jeff enjoys raising cattle, hunting, fixing broken stuff and spending time with his wife, Peggy, and daughters, Courtney and Jessica. As a certified pilot, Jeff also enjoys getting up in the sky and flying around the area.
Jeff Serfoss serves as the Parts Manager at Aberdeen Chrysler Center. Jeff joined the parts team back in 2013 and has been an integral member of the team since his arrival. Even though he came to the dealership with no automotive experience, he quickly picked up on everything necessary to succeed in his position. In his role, Jeff assists customers and technicians in receiving the correct parts for vehicle repairs. He also manages inventory, maintains relationships with vendors and oversees the overall operations in the parts department. He enjoys the working relationship he has with the automotive technicians on staff.
Jeff is a native of Aberdeen, graduating from Central High School. He attended and graduated from Lake Area Technical School before coming back to Aberdeen. Jeff and his wife Dawn have to adult children, Hunter and McKenzie along with two dogs: Mia, an Italian Greyhound and Cash, a black lab. Jeff and Dawn enjoy traveling to Miami to visit his son and daughter-in-law. He also enjoys the outdoors, participating in trapshooting, hunting and fishing.
Kaden Hoglund has been with Aberdeen Chrysler since 2008 and has served as a sales consultant, sales manager and is currently the New Vehicle Finance Manager. In his position, Kaden oversees securing financing for customers and offers products to enhance and protect the vehicle owning experience. Kaden will say that his favorite part about working at Aberdeen Chrysler is seeing a customer happy with their purchase, as well as the team atmosphere created by the great group of guys he works with every day. He loves helping any customer find the vehicle that they are truly satisfied with, and it is especially fun if it is the customer’s first new vehicle.
Kaden grew up helping out on the family farm, which he attributes to his strong work ethic. He also recognizes participating in athletics at Langford, SD contributes to his desire to continue to do his best for our customers. Kaden and his wife Danielle, a science teacher in the Warner, SD school district, have two daughters, Elise and Josie and a rambunctious black lab named Bo. Elsie is in the first grade, and Josie is looking forward to kindergarten in the fall. Outside of work, Kaden enjoys golfing, fishing, cheering on the MN Twins and Vikings, and spending time with his daughters.
Jake Carrico joined Aberdeen Chrysler Center sales team in 2022. He grew up in Aberdeen graduating from Aberdeen Central staying local to graduate from Northern State University. Jake and his wife Maggie like to keep busy with their two dogs Mia and Milo. Jake worked for a few years helping people find a vehicle before joining our team. He likes the fact that it is a team orientated job, and that as a customer put it, “you made buying so fast and easy!”
During his free time, you can find him on a golf course from time to time when the weather is nice. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family during his free time. Jake is an avid football and basketball fan and follows the Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Los Angeles Angels. One of his greatest accomplishments was graduating from Northern State University.
Dave Lien joined Aberdeen Chrysler in 2022 as a Controller. He grew up just over the border in Dawson MN, and graduated from South Minnesota State. Dave and his wife Krystal have two children Davyn and Dysan, and two dogs that keep them busy, Oakley and Trayger. Growing up he thought he might be a pilot. His position at Aberdeen Chrysler helps stay on course and make adjustments through day-to-day accounting and financial reports; you could call him a financial pilot.
Dave’s favorite place to travel is Denver, Colorado, so it’s no surprise that he is a Denver Broncos fan. He also supports the home state by following the Minnesota Wild. That hockey passion goes down to the local level with the Aberdeen Wings, where they are also a billet family. He enjoys spending time with family, pheasant hunting and golfing. He is surprisingly good at cooking, and his proudest accomplishment is raising two great kids.
Meet Amy Efraimson, the heart and soul of Aberdeen Chrysler Center’s Business Development Center. She was born and raised here in Aberdeen, and she graduated from Aberdeen Central High School and pursued her passion for e-business/business management at NDSCS.
Amy, a devoted mother, takes pride in her two wonderful daughters, Emily (20) and Kaylee (16). Her home is a lively haven for a delightful mix of pets—Effy, the spirited Jagd terrier; Emma, the sweet and resilient wiener who is deaf and mostly blind; Lily, the rescued wiener full of love; Piper, Amy’s baby wiener; and Winona, the elegant Siamese cat.
With almost eight years under her belt at Aberdeen Chrysler Center, Amy has found her calling in creating exceptional experiences for customers. Colleagues affectionately dub her the “work mom,” a testament to the supportive atmosphere she fosters within the team.
Beyond the dealership, Amy and her husband Derek recently celebrated their 20-year wedding anniversary in September. As for her dream vacation destination, Amy’s heart is set on the breathtaking shores of Bora Bora.
In both her professional and personal life, Amy Efraimson embodies warmth, dedication, and a genuine love for creating lasting connections.
Jessica has been a part of the Aberdeen Chrysler Center team since 2001. What began as a part-time night receptionist position turned into a full-time career. Jessica has held many positions at Aberdeen Chrysler Center in her 21 years of service. Currently she serves as Human Resources Manager, Office Manager, Warranty Administrator and whatever else comes her way on a given day. She enjoys the challenges and variety that come with working at a dealership.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband Jason, their three children and their dog, Millie. She keeps busy attending their various sporting events and thoroughly enjoys being outdoors when possible, working on her yard and gardening. She also sings and plays piano for her church and community events.
Michelle Rausher joined the accounting team at Aberdeen Chrysler in 2022. She graduated locally both from Aberdeen Central and Norther State University. Her and her husband Steve have two children, Ethan and Anna. Growing up Michelle always wanted to do something with animal care, so it’s no surprise that the house is also home to fur kids; a dog Dusty and three cats Peyton, Wesley, & Benjamin.
Michelle helps keep the office moving by handling some of the administrative things that need to be done to keep our dealership on track. Her experience in problem solving and numbers makes her a great fit for us. Michelle enjoys being outside, whether it’s walking through Storybook Land with Anna, walking for fun, or being in nature looking up at the stars through her telescope lens. She also enjoys playing piano and classic sitcoms like The Golden Girls & Frasier. Little know fact: Michelle has a knack for untangling things like necklaces.
Tammy joined us in 2022, and works just as hard away from her job as she does when she’s here at Aberdeen Chrysler Center. Tammy handles title responsibilities at the Aberdeen Chrysler Center. Whether you are buying a car, trading a car or maybe even selling us your car, she makes sure that the title is cleared or transferred cleanly to ensure every transaction is thorough and complete. Tammy brings close to 30 years of customer service experience from different industries
Tammy was a gymnast for many years before transitioning to a judge for 15 years. Tammy believes in serving others whether her friendly co-workers, volunteering at Aberdeen BMX, as a small group leader at Bethlehem Lutheran Church or selling tickets at Aberdeen Wings Games. When she’s not working or volunteering she enjoys spending time with grandchildren, relaxing at Mina during the warm weather months or relaxing with a good book.
Originally from Sioux Falls, SD, Scott attended college at Northern State University and obtained his degree in accounting before returning to Sioux Falls to begin his professional career in accounting. Prior to joining the Aberdeen Chrysler Center team as the Controller in 1992, Scott acquired a significant amount of knowledge about the automotive industry from his supervisor at his previous position with another auto dealer. In his position as Controller, Scott is responsible for the overall accounting functions and financial reporting for the dealership. He enjoys his co-workers and the fast-paced environment that consistently presents new challenges.
Away from the dealership, Scott enjoys riding his Trek bike, water skiing, sailing, windsurfing and working in his yard and on the house he affectionately calls “The Ponderosa” that he shares with his wife, Laura and their two dogs, Dolly & Ziggy. Scott and Laura have two adult daughters, Libby and Addy. As a child, Scott wanted to be a baseball player. In lieu of that career, Scott is an avid fan of the MN Twins. When baseball season is over, Scott enjoys watching college basketball.
